As Christians, we recognize that there is no area of our lives that does not belong to God, including the area of economics. Therefore, it is important that we know what God has to say about economics and how it applies to our lives. While this course does not discuss personal finance—checking accounts, credit cards, loans, mortgages, etc.; it does serve as a solid survey of the study of economics. We will study the history of economics, government actions and their effects, the morality of economics, and international economics. Our study, as stated by the author of our textbook, is a study “…grounded in the nature of man, natural law, and the nature of life here on this planet.”
